Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to move to Berlin, Germany, so they can bring up their children out of the limelight.
According to reports, Pitt is growing concerned about the health of his partner, who has been photographed looking unwell and underweight.
He also wants their children Maddox, five, Pax, three, Zahara, two and baby Shiloh to grow up in Europe.
Britain's Daily Mirror claims Pitt told a friend, "I want Angelina to settle down somewhere out of the limelight. She's lost a lot of weight recently and our plans are strictly to do with our move to Berlin.
"She wants to leave acting and support me with this. We also don't want our kids to go to school in Hollywood - it will be best if they can go to school in Berlin. We love the city.
"Berlin is so quiet and balanced, away from paparazzi".
Pitt already has one home in the city and is planning a second, which he is designing with his architect friends Thomas Willemeit, Lars Krueckeberg, and Wolfram Putz - who renovated his Los Angeles home.
Pitt says, "Design and architecture has always been my dream. I very much see my future in this, not the film industry.
"We bought one beautiful house in Berlin, and another one I am trying to design myself close to Potsdam.
"I have signed the contracts with two of my German partners and the contract starts in September 2008. I cannot wait".

Cosmetics giant L'Oreal has been reprimanded by British advertising watchdogs for its "misleading" mascara advertisements fronted by sexy Spaniard Penelope Cruz.
The TV and magazine adverts promoting L'Oreal's new Telescopic mascara claim the product boosts the length of women's eyelashes by up to 60 per cent.
The Advertising Standards Authority (Asa) was forced to step in after it was discovered the acting beauty had been wearing additional false eyelashes for the shoot.
But the French make-up firm has defended itself against the accusations, claiming it is "common practice" to use fake lashes.
A spokesman for L'Oreal says, "It is common industry practice to make use of some artificial lashes in order to ensure a consistent lash line under filming or shooting conditions - the Asa had previously accepted on more than one occasion that thisindustry practice was not misleading."
L'Oreal has been ordered to clarify the discrepancy and place a disclaimer on all future Telescopic advertising campaigns

In the film, Jessica's character is left devastated after finding her boyfriend in bed with her hairdresser. It has been reported the 27-year-old's celebrity hairstylist friend Ken Paves could make a cameo appearance for the scene.
Jessica recently revealed she was prepared to train intensively for her new role.
She said: "I want to get really fit for this movie. I am aiming to be able to lift weights in my highest pair of heels!"
Meanwhile, Jessica has been allowed to keep the personal trainer she shared with on/off boyfriend John Mayer
She was introduced to trainer Harley Pasternak by John and while she is no longer seeing the music star, Jessica is still working out with Pasternak.

Lindsay Lohan might be avoiding the club scene in real life after more than a month in rehab, but onscreen, she's back to her wild girl ways.
The troubled actress has taken on the role of a pole dancer in the upcoming thriller, I Know Who Killed Me.
During filming, Lindsay said: "I've been in pole dancing lessons, every day for four hours. I have bruises all over. That's why I haven't worn shorts."
She says she was uncomfortable filming her first ever sex scene: "Did I go naked for it? No, I had a bra on. I told my mom about it and she screamed! I was actually so nervous but then I was fine. It's weird."
Former child star Lindsay Lohan is set to steam up the screen in her latest filmPole dancing once proved popular with Lindsay off screen too - she notoriously joined Kate Moss in a saucy dance session at New York club Scores last year.
The 21-year-old actress claims since leaving rehab her life has been transformed, and she now relies on meditation, "serenity prayers" and Machiavelli to help her through troubled times.
She told Tatler magazine: "It changed my life."
"I didn't have a good grip on it and I needed to get my s*** together. I was going out too much and I had too much pressure on my shoulders. I was not that happy and I needed to go to that place to be happy.
The actress trained for four hours a day for the pole dancing role
"There were therapy classes to talk about relationships and family issues and to hear other people's stories too. They teach you to give to other people and I walked away with the benefit of that.
"If I get stressed out I say a serenity prayer. I meditate too."
She now travels everywhere with a copy of Machiavelli's The Prince, written in 1513, which she uses as a self-help guide.
"I was going out with someone and they said I should read Machiavelli and I was like, 'Nah', and then I was, 'Ok, I'll read it', and now it is always with me," she explained.
Despite her stints in rehab, Lohan insisted she will not give up her social life, insisting it does not conflict with her acting career.
"Look, I want to win Oscars. I want Academy Awards. I am serious about what I do and what I want to achieve. I detest being known as a party girl. Even that term 'partying' is such an annoyance," she said.
"I'm a 21-year-old actress who loves to act and enjoys spending time with her friends because I am a very social person. Why am I chastised for that? I've been a dancer all my life and it doesn't kill you to go out and dance."
Elsewhere in the interview, Lindsay revealed she is terrified of sleeping alone.
"I hate being alone at night. Being alone scares me. I'm fine during the day and love driving alone but I don't like sleeping alone. I always ask one of my girlfriends to stay over with me," she confessed.
She added: "I don't think I've ever gone on a date. I don't like the word - it's so old-fashioned and it freaks me out. There have only been two people in my life I really cared for. When you're with the right person you just fall in love."
To that end, it looks like her sometime romance with reality television lothario Calum Best has cooled - he was spotted cosying up to a mystery blonde on Malibu beach

Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne has denied copying a song by 1970s rock band The Rubinoos.
Songwriters Tommy Dunbar and James Gangwer allege Lavigne's recent hit single Girlfriend was lifted from their 1979 song I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.
But Lavigne said she has "never in my life heard of" the band and says her song has "no musical similarities".
"Their claim is based on five words," she wrote on her website. "All songs share similar lyrics and emotions."
Dunbar and Gangwer launched a legal case against Lavigne in a US District Court in San Francisco last week.
They alleged that "the lyric, the meter, the rhythm" of the Canadian star's song were "identical" to their tune.
But Lavigne reacted angrily to the claims in a message headed "to my dear media, friends, and fans".
"Simply put, I have been falsely accused of ripping their song off," she said.
"Luke (Gottwald, songwriter) and I have done nothing wrong and there is no merit to their claim."
The 22-year-old singer went on to say that the lyrical conceit of Girlfriend could be compared to other hit records.
"Off the top of my head, two other songs that I can immediately think of with this type of lyric are 'Hey, hey, you, you get off of my cloud' by the Rolling Stones and 'Hey little girl I want to be your boyfriend' by the Ramones," she said.
"As humans we speak one language."
New wave group The Rubinoos toured and recorded from 1975 to 1983 and had a hit with a cover version of Tommy James and the Shondells' I Think We're Alone Now.
They also wrote the theme song for the movie Revenge of the Nerds.
Lavigne, best known for hits such as Complicated and Sk8er Boi, recently scooped the award for favourite Canadian artist at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto.
The legal case will be heard in Oakland, California, on 28 August.

Michael Jackson To Buy Maryland Holiday Home....
Michael Jackson is house-hunting for a holiday home on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
The Thriller singer already has a rented home in Las Vegas and still owns his abandoned Neverland Ranch in California, despite false rumours he is selling the huge estate.
Jackson's spokeswoman Raymone Bain has confirmed reports the pop star had been spotted looking at waterfront mansions in Maryland last month (Jun07).
Bain said Jackson spent "about 24 hours" on the peninsula, but has yet to make a purchase.
Bain told the Washington Post that Jackson wants an East Coast base because "the majority of his advisers and attorneys are on the East Coast. He's always admired the properties on the East Coast because they have a lot of land.
Neverland has 3,000 acres - he likes privacy. You can't find as many properties like that on the West Coast.".

The supermodel is famed for her shapely curves now, but admits she tried a range of diets, including a fruit-only eating plan, at the beginning of her modelling career.
She tells Britain's Closer magazine, "I may have curves now, but when I started it was in the middle of the heroin chic phase. The likes of Kate Moss and Jodie Kidd almost forced everyone to be really skinny. I tried many diets, from eating very little or just protein to having only fruit all day.
"It was terrible for my metabolism and took me years to recover."
