The single actress - who is divorced from Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson - relieves her sexual frustration by watching X-rated films.

When asked if she has been watching soft pornography now she hasn't got a partner, Kate joked, "What are you talking about? I go right for the hard stuff!"

Kate, 29, is comfortable talking about sex and recently admitted she finds monogamy difficult because she is "ruled" by her "sexual energy".

The 29-year-old actress - who has a four-year-old son Ryder with Chris - said, "I got into this very controversial discussion once. I was married at the time and I was asked, 'Do you think monogamy is possible?' And I said, 'No, I don't think we are made to be monogamous, we are animals.'

"If you have that personality, it's never going to go away because you are ruled by your sexual energy."

Early in January, Hudson laughed off internet reports that she was spotted kissing a woman in Miami.

"A girlfriend called me and said, 'Are you making out with girls now?' I was like, 'What are you taking about?'"

"No, no, no," she added. "Strictly boys for me!"

During the interview, the 29-year-old actress gets defensive at the suggestion that she lacks range. She says, “I could be in an interview and people would keep going, ‘So why do you always do romantic comedies?’ Do I want to do darker roles? Of course. It has to be the right thing, though. I’m not just going to, like, make a movie that’s, Oh, she’s a whore, prostitute, and heroin addict.”

Fergie will marry actor Josh Duhamel in January.

The 33-year-old 'London Bridge' singer and the 'Transformers' star will tie the knot in Southern California over the second weekend of January.

It has been claimed many of Fergie's 'Nine' co-stars, including Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren, Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day-Lewis, will attend the ceremony.

The 36-year-old actor proposed to Fergie - whose real name is Stacey Ferguson - in 2007, after three years together.

They only plan on getting married once. At the time, friends said the singer was "the happiest girl on earth".

A source said: "She is working with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on getting her fantasy gown. They are taking their time to get everything right. They only plan on getting married once."

After announcing the engagement, Fergie insisted she was in no rush to tie the knot and wanted to ensure everything was perfect for her big day.

She said: "I have a big stack of wedding magazines. I want to go home and spend time with my family and just take some time to think about everything."

The former couple met on the set of 2006 movie You, Me and Dupree and were romantically linked later that year (06), after Hudson split from her husband of six years, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.

Hudson and Wilson reportedly ended their relationship in June 2007, just two months before Wilson's attempted suicide in August that year.

But rumours of a reconciliation have been rife after the pair were photographed spending time together in Miami, Florida, earlier this month March 2008.

The former lovers have now offered the strongest hint yet they have reunited after diners at the city's Casa Tua restaurant spotted the pair eating out with friends.

Pagesix ate off each other's plates. They were dining with another couple, and she was in a bathing suit and cover-up even though it was 10pm".

Hudson and Wilson were also seen out the following night enjoying a romantic dinner at Michael's Genuine eaterie.
