Happy Anniversary Madonna!

As many of you know Madonna holds a very special place in my heart. She's more than an entertainer to many of us - she's an inspiration. We just want to congratulate Madonna on 25 years of fabulousness - music, fashion, motherhood and more. We can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.

It may seem like only yesterday but 25 years ago on April 24, 1982, Sire Records honcho Seymour Stein released a single called "EVERYBODY" on Warner Bros. Records by an unknown singer from Rochester, Michigan by the name of Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone. To say the world would never be the same is an understatement. The song went on to become a huge dancefloor hit and was heard all over the radio in the Summer of 1982. That little girl from Michigan would go on to become one of the most famous entertainers and cultural icons in history - selling close to 200 million records and remaining a star of enormous magnitude and influence for the next 25 years. She's just getting started. Long Live the Queen and Happy Anniversary to Madonna.

Paris Gets a Little Crazy

Paris HiltonThere must be something in the water in L.A, because celebrities are going nuts faster than your average insurgent can throw goats, and that´s actually pretty fast. She went out to a hot night spot to catch up with her sister and look hot for the cameras, but when she was leaving she started chanting Lindsay Lohan´s nickname “Firecrotch” over and over to herself.

A horrified onlooker says: "But as Paris was about to leave, she started saying ˜firecrotch´ to herself - but loudly - so everyone around her could hear. And she wasn´t saying it to anybody - she was all by herself. She was practically chanting it!"

Sounds like there might be some need for psychotropics in the Hilton camp. Or possibly Paris has figured out that crazy gets plenty of attention. Or possibly she just had one of those involuntary vocalization moments, where your mouth just starts talking and you don´t even realize it. Sometimes that happens, and sometimes you end up in a straitjacket. That´s just life.

Mads & Lourdes Do Malawi
The press might be up in arms about Madonna’s visit to Malwai but the villagers of Gumulira were happy to see Mads and Lourdes today and sang them a few welcoming songs (no word if a rendition of Holiday was performed). Mother and daughter had a look around the maize fields which the UN is helping the Malwain farmers with. They gave Madge a taste but it looks like it didn’t go down too well (probably the 1st time in years she had to eat carbs).

Is Madonna About to Adopt in Malawi Again?

MadonnaApril 14, 2007 — Madonna is heading to Malawi once again this weekend to visit some charities she has set up there, but there are some reports that she is planning to adopt another Malawian child.

When Madonna first visited Malawi last year and adopted a one-year-old boy, a firestorm followed.

Critics claimed that she was only allowed to bypass the country's strict adoption laws because she was a celebrity. The boy's father claimed he was misinformed about the process.

Now, the Material Girl is returning to the country and so is the controversy. The Sun of London and other tabloids are reporting that she's looking to adopt again. Her publicist, however, denies it — although she denied it last time as well.

"I definitely think that Madonna would adopt again," Us Weekly senior editor Bradly Jacobs said. "She said she wanted to adopt a little Malawian girl next time. She wanted to even out her family since she already has one girl and two boys."

Madonna herself has left the door open to future adoptions.

"I wouldn't rule it out," she said in a recent interview. "I would like it to not be as complicated in the future, but I would just like to experience David for a while and see how that works out first."

Madonna is just one of many celebrities who have been adopting children abroad to expand families or shine a light on issues like third-world poverty.

"In a sense, Madonna is following a trend, a 15-year trend towards increasing numbers of international adoption," said Thomas Atwood, president of the National Council for Adoption. "She is at the beginning of a trend with respect to adoptions from Africa."

But while other stars have had their adoptions celebrated, Madonna had to go on an international media tour to justify hers.

"She's always been a lightning rod of controversy; she's always been criticized," Jacobs said. "Angelina has adopted all these kids. It's been easy. Madonna goes and adopts one and suddenly there's an uproar."

Some adoption advocates are on her side. They hope the attention — good or bad — may help change the restrictive Malawi adoption laws.

"What we have in Malawi is a sign on the door that says: prospective adoptive parents need not apply. If Madonna's celebrity can help remove that sign, more children will have families through adoption," Atwood said.

Madonna flies to Malawi Sunday with David, who she adopted in Malawi, and her two other children, Lourdes and Rocco.

No fairy-tale wedding for Prince William

Prince WilliamLONDON - Many saw her as Britain's future queen, but it looks like Kate Middleton's royal romance will not have a fairy-tale ending.

Middleton and Prince William have ended their four-year relationship, a decision that surprised palace-watchers and disappointed monarchists hoping for a glamorous royal wedding to rival that of
Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

For many Britons, however, the split provided more evidence that the royals are as human as anyone else.

"I think they're just like any other couple," said Minet Marshall, a 36-year-old London office worker. "They're young, and before you meet the right person you have to kiss a lot of frogs."

The Sun newspaper reported the breakup Saturday in a front-page story, saying the couple had reached an "amicable agreement" to separate.

William's Clarence House office refused to comment, saying it did not discuss the prince's private life, but royal sources did not deny the report, tacitly acknowledging it was true.

The news took many royal-watchers by surprise. It was widely thought the couple would soon announce their engagement; one bookmaker was so certain of a royal wedding it stopped taking bets on it earlier this year. The retail chain Woolworths had commissioned mugs, plates and other Wills-and-Kate memorabilia, despite the absence of a formal engagement.

Behind the scenes, a different story unfolded. The Sun said the split was caused by the "extraordinary pressures" on the couple and by William's career in the army. The second in line to the throne graduated from Sandhurst military academy in December and is undergoing further training at an army base in rural England, while Middleton lives in London.

Even though William was photographed at nightclubs in the company of several young women in recent weeks, there was little speculation that the relationship was on the rocks.

The prince, 24, and Middleton, 25, met as students at St. Andrew's University in Scotland in 2001 and had been dating since 2003.

Once their relationship became public with a joint photo on a Swiss skiing holiday in 2004, Middleton was a media darling. The brunette fashion buyer was photographed attending public events, going to work, even getting a parking ticket — a level of attention that evoked the romance of William's father, Prince Charles, and then-Lady Diana Spencer a quarter-century ago.

"William, after what happened to his father, cannot get it wrong," The Sun's royal reporter Duncan Larcombe told AP Television News. "He cannot marry the wrong woman, and I suppose, in a funny kind of way, it's better that we're here today talking about his girlfriend leaving, splitting up with her, than us talking about a royal divorce."

Charles and Diana married at St. Paul's Cathedral in 1981, in a televised ceremony watched by millions around the world. They had two sons, William and Harry, but divorced in 1996 after admissions of adultery on both sides. Diana died in a car crash in Paris in August 1997.

William was determined Middleton would not suffer the same media hounding his mother had endured, appealing through his office for the media to leave her alone.

Last month, Middleton lodged a complaint of media harassment with Britain's media watchdog, the Press Complaints Commission. She settled the claim earlier this month following an apology and admission of error by the Daily Mirror newspaper.

"It would put pressure on any relationship, that sort of attention," said Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty magazine. But she said the media was not to blame for the split.

Seward said the couple's relationship had simply reached an impasse.

"They can't go forward because William is in the army and he's dedicated the next few years of his life to that, so he's not in a position to get married," she said.

"They had lived together when they were at university, so in a way their relationship has become more difficult. They have seen a lot less of each other and are under a huge amount of pressure."

Some held out hope for a happy ending.

"Let's not rule out a reconciliation when he realizes what he has lost," said Judy Wade, veteran royal correspondent for Hello! magazine.

Others were glad to see the end of the affair.

"He deserves better," said 13-year-old Jessica Davis. "I think Prince William should marry me."

“I've never dated a woman or anything like it, but I think it's much more about the person you fall in love with,” she added.

Madonna returns to Malawi but no plans to adopt

MadonnaNEW YORK (Reuters) - Madonna is heading back to Malawi to continue her charity work there but has no plans to adopt another child, a spokeswoman for the U.S. pop sensation said on Thursday.

Madonna, 48, caused a storm of controversy last year when she went to Malawi to adopt a one-year-old boy, David Banda. She was accused by adoption groups of using her celebrity status to bypass laws about foreigners adopting from Malawi.

News this week that Madonna was heading back to Malawi sparked some media speculation that she was planning to adopt another child but this was quickly denied.

"She's going back to continue her work with Raising Malawi Organization and to oversee the building of a children's health care center there," her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg told Reuters by e-mail on Thursday.

"There are no plans for another adoption."

Madonna is in the legal processes of adopting the Malawian boy who was living in an orphanage after his mother died. His father, Yohane Banda, is alive but said he supported the adoption process.

Rosenberg said she did not know if the youngster would accompany Madonna to Malawi for a reunion with his father.

Madonna's publicist in London, Barbara Charone, said the singer was currently in England and planning a visit but did not know when she would go to Malawi.

As well as her adopted son, Madonna has a 10-year-old daughter, Lourdes, and a 6-year-old son, Rocco. She is married to British film director
Guy Ritchie.

Madonna has said she and Ritchie had not expected the difficulties or controversy they had faced in last year's adoption.

Does Halle Berry know what Bruce Willis is staring at?

Leena Berry

Apparently, celebrity gossip bloggers are not the only people noticing Halle Berry’s boobs. In the above photo, Bruce Willis can be doing one of several things, but, based on the evidence, I am led to believe he is trying to stare down Halle’s shirt. Or, he could just be extremely excited and is absolutely shocked nobody else noticed his elderly erection. Whatever the case, he obviously wasn’t privileged, like us, to see the Halle Berry topless pictures in Esquire magazine.

Halle Berry have such large boobs?

Halle Berry

Halle Berry,
in the latest issue of Esquire Magazine, decided to show off her seemingly huge set of boobs in her revealing, topless pictures.. I’m sure you saw Swordfish… her breasts weren’t that big. Did she receive breast implants?

After consulting a few female friends, I learned the true power of the push-up bra. I had no idea it can make the smallest boobs in the world look as if they’re double d’s. In addition, it explains why her arms are covering her chest in the Halle Berry topless pictures - she’s hiding the plums and tricking us into thinking they’re basketballs. What a scam.

Although almost any set of Halle Berry pictures are worth staring at, printing out, keeping in your wallet, and hiding in your boxers, sometimes I just prefer naked pictures. Not these “almost” nude pictures. What if my imagination sucks? I feel left out…

Kidman's Pregnancy is Just an Urban Myth

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is not pregnant, despite rumors launched by NOTW. The actress denied the rumors despite earlier announcements she was looking forward to have Urban's child. In a tell-all interview with actor Russell Crowe in February, the Australian actress admitted that she is eager to have a child with her husband, country music singer Keith Urban.

"Are you going to carry a baby?" Crowe asked at the time. "Yes, I would hope so," the 39-year-old actress replied. "Well, I just want to see you walk around barefoot and pregnant," Crowe said. "I'd like to see that too," Kidman smiled.

Kidman confessed that she loves to love while she finds it hard to allow herself to be loved. "Receiving the love and feeling like you deserve it is a pretty big struggle and I suppose that's what I've learned just recently is to allow myself to be loved," she said.

Speaking through her publicist Wendy Day, now Kidman said the report was "incorrect". "As if she would confirm a pregnancy to News of the World," Ms Day said. "She is about to get on a horse in the outback and breaking brumbies (Australian horse). I hardly think she will be able to do that if she is pregnant."

Kidman starts work on Tuesday with Australian director Baz Luhrmann on his romantic adventure epic, 'Australia!', which is set in the remote Northern Territory during the Japanese attack on Darwin during World War II. Kidman will play an English woman feeling overwhelmed by the continent, opposite Hugh Jackman.

Kidman has two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, who live with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Apparently, the pregnancy rumors were sparked by the fact that Kidman was spotted outside the same St John's Health Clinic in California where former Spice Girl, Mel B, gave birth last week. The newspaper also reported Kidman had purchased baby goods, including a $400 nappy bag, from pricey kids' retailer Petit Tresor.

However, a better explanation for the baby stuff shopping is that Kidman's sister, Antonia, had given birth to her fourth child, Sybella, on March 28.

"We are going to get a farm and I really want a goat," Kidman confessed to Crowe in February. "I just kind of have this thing where I'd like to have a goat," she continued, adding that she would use it to make cheese.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married in June 2006 and four months later, Urban checked himself into rehab for a three-month treatment. He told Matt Lauer of his relationship with Kidman: "They say grief makes hearts and closer bonds than joy ever can. We've been through a lot, and she's been extraordinary."

In addition to her Academy Award for 'The Hours', she is a three-time Golden Globe winner for Best Actress. In 2006, Kidman became the highest paid actress in the film industry. In 2003, Kidman received her star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

Jodie Foster And Anderson Cooper Are Homosexual

Actress Jodie Foster's sexuality is under attack again - this time from one of America's top gay magazines. The bold editors of Out have put an image of two models holding masks of Foster and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper over their faces on the cover of the upcoming May issue, over the headline: "The Glass Closet: Why the stars won't come out and play."

The lifestyle magazine's May issue features a list of America's most influential gay men and women, but editors couldn't resist taking a swipe at Foster, who has been the subject of lesbian rumors for years.

According to the editors, the controversial cover image is "a sly commentary on the way that semi-closeted celebrities hide in plain sight."

The accompanying article, penned by leading gay writer Michael Musto, sets out to challenge stars like Foster to address the sexuality issue that dogs them, rather than simply avoid the question.

Musto writes, "It's true that stars are free to put up whatever walls they want in order to maintain boundaries with the public."

Meanwhile, entertainment mogul David Geffen tops Out's gay power list.

Ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown gives birth to girl

NEW YORK - Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has given birth to a daughter in California, her publicist said Tuesday.

The baby, who weighs 5 pounds, 4 ounces, was born just after midnight Tuesday at St. John's hospital in Santa Monica, said Nadine Bibi in an e-mail.

"Baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. Mother and baby are now resting," the statement said. "No name has been decided on as yet, and (she) is purely known as Baby Brown!"

Brown has said ex-boyfriend
Eddie Murphy is the father. The 46-year-old "Dreamgirls" star has said he's not sure. Brown has said there's "absolutely no question that Eddie is the father."

The 31-year-old Brown, known as Scary Spice when she was in the megahit group of the '90s, has an 8-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar.

JENNIFER LOPEZ Joins the size ZERO DEBATE & Accused of 'forgetting her roots'

Singer/actress JENNIFER LOPEZ has joined the ranks of celebrities to hit out against the size zero culture, insisting it's not healthy. The WAITING FOR TONIGHT star is proud of her curvaceous figure, and insists slimming down would be detrimental to her health. She says, "I couldn't ever be a size zero. I don't see how I could get down to that size and still be healthy."

Jennifer Lopez has been accused of "forgetting her roots" by a US Latin music chain, which has removed her CDs from their shelves.

The WAITING FOR TONIGHT singer has been barred from 50 Ritmo Latino stores after failing to promote new Spanish-language album COMO AMA UNA MUJER (HOW A WOMAN LOVES) in the music outlets.

Ritmo president DAVID MASSRY has branded the star's 'Jenny from the Block' persona a fallacy - insisting the star has lost touch with her roots.

He says, "We've supported her from the beginning. Now we're told by her record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets.

"This is a Spanish-language CD, and if she wants to discriminate against the Latin community, then we will not sell her product.

"This is not the first time this has happened. Celebrities have this notion that when they reach a certain level of crossover appeal, they forget quickly where they started."

Alec Baldwin's Good Deeds

Los Angeles -
Alec Baldwin may criticize the president's policies when it comes to the war in
Iraq, but don't ever accuse him of not supporting the troops.
Alec Baldwin

After reading a Mar. 4 article in the New York Times about an 18-year-old female Army soldier preparing to embark on her first tour in Iraq, the 30 Rock star was so touched he decided to reach out and offer to help pay for her college education.

The Times article chronicled Pvt. Resha Kane's emotional farewell with family and friends as she left behind her innocent teen years for the grueling military life she was about to encounter upon shipping out for training at Fort Hood, Texas.

According to Baldwin's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, the story and accompanying photo of the soldier tugged at the thesp's heartstrings because Resha reminded him of his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, and he was so affected he wanted to lend a hand.

So Baldwin, a staunch liberal democrat who's flirted with the idea of running for public office, put politics aside and took it upon himself to track down the girl's mother, Patricia Kane, at the discount store where she works in Mohave Valley, Arizona, and offered to foot part of her daughter's tuition bill.

"As you know, Alec has a younger daughter of his own, so I think this hit close to home," Hiltzik told E! Online. "Alec's always been very supportive of the troops, and I think this really inspired him to want to do something specific. He personally sought out the family and wanted to ask how he could be helpful."

The rep said Baldwin offered to arrange a "low-key, below-the-radar" meeting with the Kanes in their small railroad town of Needles, California, or to take part in a larger event that would include the media and bring more attention to their daughter's poignant story.

The family thanked him for his interest and chose the latter, having become accustomed to press attention after making the front page of the Times. That profile not only garnered them national media attention but spurred people from all over the United States to write letters expressing support and gratitude for Resha's service.

For her part, Patricia Kane was dumbstruck upon hearing from the Oscar nominee.

"I didn't know what to say," Kane told the Associated Press. "And then I asked him if he could send me his autograph. I've never met a star, let alone talked to one on the phone."

With the aid of a family friend, the Kanes are currently working with Baldwin on arranging a visit to take place within the next three months hopefully at the VFW Post 404 in Mohave, the veterans club where their daughter bid her goodbyes and where a motorcade of bikers gave her a honorary send-off.

Hiltzik said they hoped to have a date by next week.

As for Resha, upon hearing from the acclaimed actor of such films as The Hunt for Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross and more recently this year's Best Picture winner, The Departed, she was overwhelmed to say the least.

"It's very generous," the private told AP from Fort Hood, where she's studying to be a chemical operations specialist. "Actors have all this money, and it's a good thing to see them do something other than for themselves and show some character and use their money wisely."

Resha joined the army in April and is scheduled to deploy with her unit for Iraq in September, where she's expected to spend at least six months.

Baldwin's check, the amount of which was not disclosed, will supplement the $37,200 the soldier is due to receive from the Army College Fund for her education. She plans to study biochemistry when her enlistment is up in three years.
