Beyonce's Single Ladies Ring in 2009 in StyleBeyonce has kicked off the New Year (09) at the top of the U.S. pop charts after scoring a fourth week as Billboard Hot 100's number one.

Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) keeps Lady GaGa's Just Dance from the top of the year's first countdown, while T.I.'s former chart-topper Live Your Life slips to three.

Kanye West's Heartless and Taylor Swift's Love Story round out the first top five of 2009.

The year's first highest new entry comes from Miranda Cosgrove, whose cover of British trio Sugababes' About You Now debuts at 51.

Sugababe Threatened With Sack Over Boyfriend

Sugababe ThreatenedSugababe is reportedly being threatened with the sack only 18 months after joining the band.

The singer has apparently “gone underground” over pressure from all sides to dump her boyfriend Freddie Fuller, who is currently awaiting trial for the alleged rape of her 20-year-old sister Samiya.

A source tells the Sunday Mirror, “The other two girls, the management and the label have threatened to axe her unless she dumps him.

"She's gone underground and has refused to answer their calls - but it will all climax this week.

"Amelle has got a serious decision to make."

However, a spokesperson for the Sugababes says, "As far as we're concerned, it's business as usual."
