Nicole Richie Pregnant?

New pictures of Nicole Richie looking as skeletal as ever except for a noticeable belly bump have sparked the inevitable ‘Is she pregnant?’ speculation.

Whilst many tabloids, including the National Enquirer, have gone along with the pregnancy theory, others have claimed that her bulging midriff was simply the result of malnutrition.

Now, a source close to Nicole has confirmed the pregnancy to Celebrity Babylon, adding that it is ex-boyfriend Joel Madden’s baby.

"Nicole is pregnant," says their snitch, "and it's definitely Joel's baby."

Joel ended his relationship with Nicole last month, reportedly because she was 'too clingy.'
