Jessica Simpson is sharing details of how her fiance Eric Johnson popped the big question!
“I absolutely had no idea. He had talked to my mom and dad and my sister [Ashlee] three weeks before he asked me. He had the ring in his shoe at my house somewhere,” she says on The Morning Mash Up radio show, in an interview airing Thursday, December 2.
“I was like, why hide it in a shoe, but it worked. He got down on his knee and I had to sit down on it because I was so shocked,” she says.
Jess, 30, adds that it happened while she was watching Parenthood. “I was short of breath. It was definitely one of those moments where I’ve never felt that way before, ever … We met in my house it was amazing that he proposed to me in my house.”
“I can’t believe all the Simpsons kept a secret,” says Jess.Labels: Eric Johnson, Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson believes her dead dog would want her to have another pooch.
The singer-and-actress - who was left devastated when her Maltipoo Daisy was taken by a coyote last month - is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her pet, but draws comfort in knowing Daisy would want her to move on.
She said: "I haven't really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime. Daisy would want that."
Jessica, 29, still finds it hard to discuss Daisy, who was a gift from her ex-husband Nick Lachey.
She admitted: "Daisy meant the world to me. I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don't have her every day... It's a very hard thing to talk about."
People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory (sic).
Daisy was snatched as Jessica looked on.
She immediately began a campaign to get the dog back, posting messages on her Twitter account and placing posters around her neighbourhood calling for information.
Earlier this week, Jessica - who joked Daisy was a lesbian after she struck up a close friendship with another female dog - revealed people had been falsely claiming Daisy was alive.
She wrote on her Twitter webpage: "People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory (sic)."Labels: Jessica Simpson
The sexy star bust her conk while filming new movie 'Major Movie Star', which is about an American Hollywood actress who joins the army.
Jessica suffered the break after accidentally hitting herself in the face with a gun.
Jessica Simpson said: "I was running with a gun over my head and fell over and broke my nose, it really hurt!"
It wasn't just the break that left the 27-year-old star in pain. She has previously admitted her favourite body part is her slender nose.
Jessica, who is famed for her curvaceous body, said: "There are a lot of girls with a similar body to mine, but my nose is special and unique to me."
Meanwhile, the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star has confessed she dresses sexily to impress men.
Jessica admits she chooses outfits she knows will send men's pulses racing, and is happy to make the most of her desirable body.
She said: "I dress for men, and also for myself. But if I am dressing for men, then I know it's good for myself.
"Curves are better. Honestly, movie stars should be voluptuous and beautiful, and models should be voluptuous and beautiful."Labels: Jessica Simpson

NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico - Jessica Simpson has donated a new minivan to an orphanage in this border city.
Dozens of cheering children greeted the singer and actress Sunday as she arrived at the Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, just across the border from Laredo, Texas, in a white 2007 Chrysler minivan that she had won at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Simpson, accompanied by her mother and father, who is also her manager, gave the keys to Guadalupe Carmona, the orphanage's founder and director. Shestayed for about 40 minutes, posing for photos with the children and signing autographs.
"We're really happy," said Carmona, known as Mama Lupita. "This is the second time she has visited us."
Last fall, Simpson won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at the MTV awards, but exchanged the $50,000 luxury car for a minivan so she could help the orphanage, Carmona said.
Simpson first visited the orphanage in 1996 and last month announced she would donate a car, Carmona said. But few expected Simpson to deliver it in person.
Simpson, whose songs include "I Wanna Love You Forever" and "Irresistible," also has appeared in the MTV reality show "Newlyweds" with now-ex husband
Nick Lachey and in the movie "The Dukes of Hazzard."Labels: Jessica Simpson
